Abstract
This study explores the experiences of teachers teaching subjects outside their area of specialization at Gallanosa National High School. Thirty teachers, primarily females aged 25-35 with 5-9 years of teaching experience in Technical Livelihood Education (TLE) and Home Economics (HE), were surveyed. Findings highlight that teachers often face challenges but cope through research, professional development, and seeking assistance. School heads provide support through strategies, expert connections, and collaboration. The study proposes a seminar to improve teaching effectiveness in unfamiliar subjects. It concludes that teacher commitment, coping strategies, and technical support can enhance teaching beyond their specialization.
