Abstract
This study determined the competencies of teacher-bookkeepers of elementary schools in DepEd Sorsogon City for the Fiscal Year 2022. The research design used is descriptive research. The respondents were the twenty-one (21) teacher-bookkeepers of Sorsogon City Division, which were purposively chosen. The statistics utilized were frequency, percentage, rank, and weighted mean. It was revealed that teacher-bookkeepers are developing in all qualification competencies in relation to Basic, Common, and Core Competencies of bookkeeping. It was recommended that capacity building for School Financial Management Team may be regularly conducted to improve the competencies of teacher-bookkeepers.
