With the recent technological advancements, communication is no longer limited to face-to-face interaction in the physical world but has become computer-mediated or digital. When covid-19 pandemic happened, the use of online platforms and social media sites to connect with people has become everyone’s norm, most especially to one of the most affected sectors – in schools, among teachers and students. This study utilized the qualitative-descriptive method of research, and used (electronic) document analysis, (digital) discourse analysis as well as (online) conversational analysis to understand the discourse features in the students’ computer-mediated communication, and the purposes behind their dialogs, as well as how they managed their interactions.
