Influence of Teachers’ Digital Skills and Students’ Experiences in Computer-Mediated Instruction Towards Students’ Learning Satisfaction in Physical Education

The digitization of learning offers numerous benefits but also brings forth significant challenges that can impact students' learning satisfaction with their educational experiences. As technology integration in education accelerates, the pressing need for educators to be proficient in digital tools and teaching methodologies also accelerates. This quantitative study aims to determine if teachers’ digital skills and students’ experiences in computer-mediated instruction influences students’ learning satisfaction in Physical Education. Regression analysis was employed to determine the level of association among variables. It was found that both teachers’ digital skills and students’ experiences in computer-mediated instruction significantly influences students’ learning satisfaction. Moreover, Teachers’ digital skills directly affects learning experiences in computer-mediated instruction, which is another critical factor influencing students’ learning satisfaction. Addressing these challenges requires a concerted effort to enhance digital literacy among educators and to ensure that digital learning platforms are developed with a strong focus not only on pedagogical effectiveness but also on high quality experiences among students.
